Ginger Scraps Template Challenge

As a rule I don't do template challenges only because I have no idea how my scrapbook software uses them so normally I just avoid them all together. Since my TMJ was flaring up and no relief in site I thought I'd take my mind off the pain by trying something new. I just used the template picture as a guide and here is what I came up with. I used a new kit I bought this month from the Ginger Scrap store so that worked out well. I really like how this turned out except I think it is missing something by the chalkboard so if anyone has any ideas let me know.

Design name change

Back in June I decided to make some freebies to give away and I decided to make my design name 'One Little Money Digital Crafts'. Well after much thought and imput from others I've decided to use my blog name as my designer name. So from now on all my freebies will use the name of 'Monkey's Musings'.

Gotta Pixel - Show Me The Mini Challenge

By now I think everyone knows I'm a sucker for the challenges. I haven't been doing much sleeping and Monkey just started kindergarten yesterday. What is a Mom to do with time on her hands? Silly question as the answer is scrapping.
This morning I went ahead and downloaded the free mini kit at Gotta Pixel and went to work. I had some new pictures taken yesterday so this wasn't hard to do. So without further to do....my layout.

September Challenges Take 2

As I was checking out the other forums I belong to I discovered one has closed it's doors - Miss BeeHaven and the other one has decided to only have challenges thru Facebook with a closed group - Enchanted Studio Scraps. OK, that just means I have less challenges I can do every month. Well, life goes on. I did a layout for a forum that luckily I got the kit they were using on the designers blog as a freebie back in July so I didn't have to purchase the kit. That is always a plus. The second one was called a Recipe as they gave you a list of items. Sometimes these work out and sometimes they don't. You be the judge but please if you leave a comment be nice!
